Lets talk about things that we always do (everyday), but we never think why we do, SLEEP. What is sleep? Why need to sleep? Why sleep is important to us? Everyone must have a perfect sleep to maintain their perfomance during the days. Sleep is the best meditation. Agree?
Ok, ok back to main point, according to the Wikipedia, sleep is a naturally recurring state characterized by reduced or lacking consciousness, relatively suspended sensory activity, and inactivity of nearly all voluntary muscles. During sleep time, our brain is recharging and gives the brain opportunity to recognize data. Sleep give our body rest and ready for the next day. As an older people, we need about 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night. A sleep is a building process. It restores the energy that we used through the day activities. In general, the damage done to the body due to regular activities is repaired during sleep. If there is not enough sleep, this repair process is disturbed. The growth processes will inhibited.
Some people think lack of sleep is not a big deal. But, the truth is lack of sleep can effect our stamina, way of thinking and emosion. In fact, lack of sleep also can causes headache and depression. Lack of sleep is the one of the main reason of illness. Surprise? Lack of sleep is the main causes of diabetes. Huh? People who didn't get an enough sleep also hard to concentrate on someting. They also have a blurred vission.
